Kids on Stage (KOS) is a non-profit organisation, started by Kids Performing to provide opportunities for financially disadvantaged children in the performing arts.
The funding provides scholarships for performance training courses. Our courses include JazzKids, BroadwayKids and UrbanKids - multifaceted training programmes managed by Kids Performing that teaches singing, acting and dance choreography with personality development by highly qualified instructors.
It also provides a platform for these young artistes to perform by financially aiding productions such as community events, concerts, festivals, competitions, or charity shows, locally and internationally In addition, the funding will be used to identify and recruit talents from financially disadvantaged families, aged 7 – 16, in Singapore who have the right attitude towards excellence in performing arts.
The Kids on Stage programme and funding aims not only o provide opportunities to children in the arts, who otherwise cannot afford it, but to set the standards of performance for young performers. Beyond that, it aspires to create and foster a sense of pride and identity through belonging in a performance group.
The Kids on Stage fund will be managed and administered by Kids Performing. All accounts related to the fund will be checked and audited by third party certified auditors and accountants.
